JOB DESCRIPTION
The Communications Executive in the education sector is responsible for crafting and executing strategies to engage parents and key stakeholders, while also implementing retention initiatives to enhance parent satisfaction and ensure long-term commitment.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinating communication strategies to engage and inform parents, and educational stakeholders.
Work closely with the marketing and academic department to create engaging and informative content, including newsletters, emails, and other materials to keep parents informed and engaged.
Plan and execute events, workshops, and campaigns to foster parent engagement, provide support, and promote educational programs.
Develop relationships with external providers for events and workshops.
Develop and manage retention programs to enhance parent satisfaction and engagement.
Work closely and build relationships with the parent community.
Create content for whole school communications and copy for various platforms.
Any other related duties that may be assigned from time to time by the Line Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Bachelor's degree in communication, marketing, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
Proven experience in communication, engagement, and retention in education or in a related industry.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with parents.
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
Creative thinking and the ability to develop and implement innovative communication and retention strategies.
