Job Responsibility
Assist in preparing and measuring ingredients according to recipes.
Execute basic baking techniques, including mixing, lamination, shaping and proofing dough.
Operate baking equipment such as ovens, mixers and dough sheeters.
Contribute to the production of a variety of pastries and other baked goods.
Follow established recipes and guidelines to ensure consistency in product quality.
Collaborate with the pastry team to meet production targets and timelines.
Monitor the baking process to ensure the quality, taste and texture of products meet the pastrys standards.
Conduct regular quality checks on ingredients and finished products.
Communicate any issue or discrepancies to the head pastry chef.
- Cleanliness and Sanitastion
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to hygiene and sanitation standards.
Follow proper food safety procedures to ensure the safety of products and customers.
Assist in managing ingredient inventory, notifying the team leader when supplies need to be replenished.
Monitor and report any discrepancies in inventory levels.
Work closely with other members of the pastry team to achieve common goals.
Communicate effectively with colleagues and superiors to ensure smooth workflow.
