As part of our mission to enhance coding education in Malaysia, Walnut Coding is expanding its presence in Chinese and International Schools, integrating our coding programmes into their curricula and co-curricular activities.

Role Overview:

As a Coding/Python Account Manager, you will play a vital role in the successful integration of the Walnut Coding programme and platform into schools across Malaysia. Your responsibilities will include:

- Delivering engaging training sessions for teachers, ensuring the seamless incorporation of Scratch and Python into their curricula via the Walnut Coding platform.

- Advocating for the success of both educators and students, monitoring engagement, gathering feedback, and driving continuous improvement.

- Resolving technical issues promptly to ensure a smooth experience with the Walnut Coding platform.

- Building and maintaining strong relationships with school principals, administrators, and teachers, acting as a trusted advisor for their digital literacy and coding education goals.

- Collaborating with other departments, including marketing and curriculum development, to organise coding workshops, hackathons, and other educational events. Contributions to curriculum development are also encouraged.

Key Requirements:

- Knowledge of Python or equivalent

- Proficiency in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Chinese-speaking counterparts in Chinese Schools.

- Willingness to travel across Malaysia to engage directly with schools.

- Training will be provided.

- This will be a hybrid work setting.
