Role Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced coding instructor to join our team at Sigma School. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and experience in teaching or mentoring. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and informative lessons, providing guidance and support to students, and helping them to achieve their learning goals.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver live coding classes every evening from Monday to Saturday (8:30 PM to 10:30 PM Malaysia Time) depending on your availability.
• Prepare and present lessons on various programming languages and frameworks.
• Assist students with coding challenges and provide constructive feedback.
• Monitor student progress and provide additional support as needed.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages and frameworks (or similar):
• React
• Node.js
• Python
• JavaScript
• HTML/CSS
• SQL
• MongoDB
• Express.js
• Prior teaching or mentoring experience is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
• Passion for teaching and helping others succeed.
