COBOL Developer

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and maintain application software for the Bank (IBM mainframe)
• Conduct impact analysis of business/ functional requirements on application system
• code and verify program operations by confirming tests
• ensure compliance with systems development standards and methodology throughout entire system development life cycle (SDLC)
• prepare and update application software related documentation

Requirements:

• a recognised degree in Information technology/ computer science
• minimum 4 years experience in programming with either or combination of these skills: COBOL, JCL, VSAM, DB2, CICS and SAS
• self-motivated and a team player
• good analytical and problem sovling skills
• experience in application design and development for credit card system would be an advantage
