Requirements- Candidates must have at least a Bachelor's degree in a related field. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
Proven Knowledge in CNC programming and CNC machining.- Perform CNC Programming for Production Set up and operate CNC Machine to provide the parts as per drawing and within specification
Candidates should be able to understand and interpret mechanical drawings.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other departments such as Production and Naval Architecture is essential.
Willingness to work overtime when required is necessary.- Good communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia are a must.
Possession of own transport, preferably.
Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to understand part requirements.
- Converting a 3D CAD (computer-aided design) model into a set of machine-readable instructions
Set up CNC machines, including loading materials, fixtures, and tools.- Program CNC machines using CAM software or manual input, including toolpath creation and parameter setting.
Perform machine adjustments and tool changes as necessary to ensure proper operation.
- Monitor machine operation and make adjustments to optimize performance and quality.
Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.- Perform routine maintenance tasks on CNC machines to ensure proper functioning.
Collaborate with engineers, designers, and production managers to optimize manufacturing processes.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Document production activities, including machine settings, tool changes, and inspection results.
