JOB DESCRIPTION
Enhance the security posture of the cloud infrastructure, minimize risks, and ensure regulatory compliance. By automating network and security processes, they will contribute to operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness. This role is critical in fostering collaboration across teams, enabling secure and efficient cloud deployments that align with Maybanks strategic goals and technological roadmap.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Cloud Network Architecture,
- Develop comprehensive and scalable network designs tailored to cloud environments.
- Plan and implement Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs), subnets, and network segmentation.
- Ensure network architectures meet business requirements and adhere to best practices.
Monitoring and Optimization:
- Implement continuous monitoring solutions for network performance, security incidents, and compliance status.
- Analyze monitoring data to optimize network performance and identify potential security threats.
- Implement and manage logging and alerting systems to ensure proactive issue resolution.
Collaboration and Support:
- Work closely with development, operations, and other teams to ensure secure and efficient cloud deployments.
- Provide technical support and guidance on network and security issues.
- Facilitate cross-team communication to ensure alignment with security and network standards.
Cloud Security Architecture Design,
- Design and implement security frameworks for cloud environments.
- Develop security policies, standards, and procedures.
- Ensure the security architecture aligns with regulatory requirements and Maybanks standards.
- Implement and manage security controls such as firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and encryption mechanisms.
- Conduct security assessments and penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities.
- Develop and enforce incident response plans and procedures.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of network and security architectures, policies, and procedures.
- Generate reports on network performance, security incidents, and compliance status for stakeholders.
- Ensure documentation is up-to-date and accessible for audit and review purposes.
Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure cloud networks comply with regulatory requirements such as GDPR, PCI-DSS, and internal security policies.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and manage mitigation strategies.
- Stay updated with evolving compliance standards and integrate them into the network and security designs.
Incident Response and Recovery:
- Lead the response to network and security incidents, ensuring rapid resolution and minimal impact.
- Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans for cloud environments.
- Conduct post-incident reviews to identify lessons learned and improve incident response processes.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Extensive experience in cloud networking and security.
- Certifications from recognized CSPs such as AWS, Azure, GCP or equivalent.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
