To carry out the functions of an optometrist (refraction, basic ophthalmic history and examination, perform ophthalmic investigations, prescription of spectacles and contact lenses) under supervision.
To participate and contribute to the marketing and expansion activities (e.g. conduct eye screening work and give eye care talks) of the centre as the need arises.
To assist the doctors in their clinics.
Provide basic and direct care to patients as directed by doctor, and ensure good patient care experience in the clinic.
Maintain medical records and schedule appointments.
Filing documents, and getting patients where they need to be.
Prepping patients for examinations.
Assisting fellow colleagues and to perform any other duties as assigned by the Clinical Director or management.
