Full job description- Patient Registration and Reception:
Greet and assist patients upon arrival.
Register patients and update their personal and medical information in the clinics system.
Manage patient appointments and scheduling.
Answer phone calls and address patient inquiries promptly.
Assist doctors and nurses during patient examinations and treatments.
Chaperon consultants during physical examinations of patients.
Prepare and maintain examination rooms, ensuring they are clean and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
Assist with basic medical procedures, such as taking vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, etc.).
Collect and label specimens for laboratory testing.
Dispense prescribed medications and provide instructions to patients.
Manage and monitor medication inventory, including stock in and out.
Check medication expiry dates and ensure proper storage.
Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality.
Handle billing, payments, and insurance claims processing.
Perform clerical duties, including filing, photocopying, and faxing documents.
Assist with inventory management and ordering of medical supplies.
- Patient Care and Support:
Provide general information and support to patients and their families.
Ensure patients are comfortable and address any concerns they may have.
Educate patients on healthcare procedures and post-treatment care instructions.
Follow all clinic protocols and procedures to ensure patient safety and quality care.
Adhere to infection control and hygiene standards.
Assist in maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
