Key Responsibilities
Depending upon assignment, duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Building models, sketches, drawings, and blueprints using 2D/3D AutoCAD version 2010 or higher.
- Performed civil engineering work.
- Performed Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, Technical, Schematic diagram and other phases of engineering.
- Performed piping drawing layout and equipment for installation with coordination in fabricators and material take-offs.
- Prepares working drawings, maps, schematics, charts, and facility alteration schematics, utilizing standard reference materials.
- Provides detailed drawings and assists in preparing cost and time estimates for maintenance and projects.
- Updates and maintains plans and drawings of the factory building and facilities.
- Makes annual updates of master utility and building plans, reviews changes in plans and specifications, monitor the project cost.
- Works closely with other departments regarding construction, problems, work schedules, modification, and deviations from specifications.
- Coordinate and monitor repair and maintenance projects of the factory facilities.
- Inspects project sites to make sketches, take and confirm measurements, take photographs; documents actual site conditions to aid in developing architectural designs.
- Inspects factory buildings and compound to verify the location and identification of electrical, water, gas, voice/data, irrigation, piping system and fire protection systems and components.
- Maintains facility blueprints for completeness and updates as-built files once project has been completed.
- Uses safety equipment, supplies, and procedures to perform job duties and maintains equipment in a safe operating condition; maintains preventive maintenance procedures, records, and reports.
- Coordinate and monitor repair and maintenance work of the factory facilities.
- Prepare working schedule and monitor the gardeners progress work.
- Responds to immediate safety and/or food safety operational concerns and to resolve immediate issues.
- Liaise with suppliers and contractors on new or on-going projects to ensure on completion of work within the timeline.
Job Requirements
EDUCATION AND/OR WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelors degree in civil, architecture, engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 3 to 5 years experience in draughtman, civil engineering and facilities support
- Highly proficient in using computer aided design & drafting software (CADD) to create architectural drawings.
- Excellent technical skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Strong mathematical skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage stressful situations and strict deadlines.
- Good leadership skills with ability to monitor subordinates.
- Fluent in English language.
