ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Participate in the planning and implementation of projects and solutions involving
- Citrix servers and Infrastructure services.
- Contribute to the design, implementation, and enhancement of Citrix Virtual Apps
- and Desktop Infrastructure setup and configuration.
- Install, set up, configure, and migrate systems and applications as required.
- Act as a subject matter expert for Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktop Infrastructure
- administration, maintenance, operations, and troubleshooting.
- Provide recommendations for resources needed to maintain or expand service levels.
- Serve as a point of contact for monitoring, troubleshooting, and problem resolution
- related to Citrix and application environments.
- Utilize best practices and frameworks for troubleshooting and root cause
- identification.
- Handle technical escalations to principals and collaborate closely for issue resolution,
- whether remotely or on-site.
- Provide technical advice and escalation support for on-site specialists.
- Prepare, update, and maintain documentation and knowledge base.
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Enterprise Architects, and Infrastructure Support
REQUIREMENTS
- Excellent skills in implementing and supporting Citrix solutions, particularly Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktop Infrastructure, and Citrix NetScaler.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Server operating systems (Windows Server 2012 & Above),
- Remote Desktop Services, Active Directory (AD), DFS, DHCP, DNS, and scripting skills.
- Experience with virtualization support and implementation (VSphere 7, Acropolis, Citrix).
- 3-5 years of experience in an enterprise Citrix environment, with exposure to various Citrix desktop environments (pooled VDI, Persistent or Non-Persistent VDI desktops).
- Hands-on experience with user migration into a VDI environment (Virtual to Virtual and Physical to Virtual migrations).
- Certifications such as CCP-V and CCP-N are advantageous.
- Familiarity with storage solutions (e.g., IBM, Dell, EMC, HP).
- Experience with system hardware builds, racking, cabling, server consolidation projects, and office relocation activities.
- Proficiency in Veeam or other backup and deduplication solutions.
- Competence in installing, configuring, and maintaining server and storage hardware and associated network equipment.
- Experience in supporting mobile devices.
- Familiarity with server performance tuning and monitoring tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate issues, identify root causes, and propose effective resolutions.
- Ability to troubleshoot VDI assignment and access issues, workspace configurations, and desktop performance.
- Excellent multitasking abilities and self-motivation while working collaboratively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with users of different nationalities and levels within the organization.
