CHINESE CUISINE SOUS CHEF
Job & Responsibilities:
- To assist Executive Chef oversee overall kitchen daily operations and ensure smooth running of all kitchen stations.
Are primarily required to have strong knowledge of Chinese cuisine- Have fine knowledge of Chinese cuisine ingredients on Food Preparations.
Responsible for overseeing the production of Chinese cuisine for coffee house and banquets.
- Able to prepare a wide variety of Chinese menu items, including rice, noodle, soup, vegetable, and meat dishes.
Expected to improve upon their recipes with occasional experimentation.- The Chinese chef may also have to make necessary food purchases.
Should be good at evaluating the quality of food products to ensure that he or she maintains consistent quality standards.
- Chinese chefs may also decide on the prices of their dishes, determine the presentation of menu items, and plan menus.
To monitor and maintain high standard of food quality and ensure food preparation and presentation based on hotel star rating standard.- To maintain hygiene in kitchen area in compliance with KKM, Halal and Safety standard.
Willing to carry other assignments from time to time as directed by Management.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate in Culinary or equivalent
At least 3 years relevant working experience in the related field.- Fluent in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Chinese
Customer oriented with strong leadership skill
- Good interpersonal skills and able to work in team.
* Passionate in culinary, self-motivated & able to work independently.
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: RM3,
- 00 - RM3,800.00 per month
Schedule: - Rotational shift
