Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to be part of our unique teams.
In this industry, the
Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is indispensable, responsible for developing and executing financial strategies aligned with business objectives, managing costs effectively to ensure profitability, mitigating risks associated with economic and regulatory factors, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance, allocating capital efficiently for growth, monitoring financial performance for informed decision-making, and participating in strategic planning to identify and pursue opportunities for sustainable growth and competitiveness.
Reporting to: Managing Director
- Setting Realistic Valuation Expectation:
Market research and competitor analysis- Collaboration with financial analysts and bankers
Financial modeling for earnings and cash flow projections
- Forecast and Cost Budgeting:
Developing financial forecasts
- Identifying cost drivers and optimization strategies
Budgeting processes and monitoring mechanisms
- Risk Management and Internal Control
:
Assessing IPO risks and compliance- Implementing internal controls
Legal and compliance engagement
- Post IPO Transition and Governance:
Developing transition plans
- Establishing governance structures
Transparency and accountability measures
- Financial Strategy and Growth Management
:
Formulating growth strategies- Evaluating expansion opportunities
Monitoring market trends and metrics
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- Proven experience as a CFO. From travel industry will be an added advantage.
Strong understanding of financial principles, regulatory frameworks, and accounting standards.- Demonstrated track record of driving financial performance, operational excellence, and strategic growth initiatives.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to anticipate market trends, assess competitive landscapes, and capitalize on opportunities.
Commitment to integrity, ethics, and transparency in financial management and decision-making.- Proficient in both written and spoken in Bahasa Malaysia & English languages. Those who are able to converse in Chinese would be an added advantage.
Candidate must be willing to be based in Raja Chulan, Kuala Lumpur area.
