Duties and Responsibilities- Prepare and cook high quality food according to menu guidelines and recipes
Ensuring that all dishes reach the hot plate or passe correctly garnished, the correct portion and size, presented on the correct serving dish in the prescribed manner- Coordinates daily tasks with the Sous Chef
Always in the know on the daily requirements, functions and operations.
- Ensuring that all mise-en-place is always freshly prepared and on time
Following correct hygienic food handling practices- Managing and training junior team members
Ensure effective communication between staff by maintaining a secure and friendly working environment.
- Possessing relevant kitchen experience in hospitality industry is an added advantage.
Possess strong skill sets related to hygiene policies to ensure all food preparation is done in a safe manner.
- Willing to work on shifts, including weekends and public holidays
Has a pleasant and outgoing personality- Have extensive knowledge of food, kitchen equipment
Comfortable with open communication culture
