Operation & Maintenance- Possess a valid B0 or above chargeman competency certificate issued by Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST)
Perform day-to-day operational tasks at the animal waste biogas plant, including working with the team members to operate, maintain and upgrade facility systems, equipment and infrastructure to generate higher amount of biogas subsequently higher production of electricity.- Start, stop, shutdown, regulate and control Biodigester related equipment, bio-scrubber, biogas genset, Inter connection facility equipments, Supervisory Control Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems, control panel, electric motors, pumps and other related equipment.
Perform routine maintenance duties and carry out requests from management staffs; also perform minor plant maintenance, grounds maintenance, cleaning and custodial duties.
- Monitor equipment functioning, observe temperature, level, and flow gauges, and perform regular unit checks to ensure that all equipment is operating at optimal.
Record, review, and compile operations and maintenance records, test results, and gauge readings such as temperatures, pressures, concentrations, flows and other control and measuring devices; maintain records of facility operations.- Adjust temperature, pressure, vacuum, level, flow rate, or transfer of gas to maintain processes at required levels or to correct problems.
Clean, maintain, and repair equipment, using hand tools, or request that repair and maintenance work be performed. Collaborate with other operators to solve unit problems.
- Determine causes of abnormal parameter variances, and make corrective recommendations, such as relieve/flair overloading of biogas in gas holder.
