Job description Adhere and to enforce safety rules and procedures by adopting established safety code and practices and regulatory requirements to ensure all employees working in Safe & Sound environment.
To ensure all works are carried out as per LCTM Occupational, Health, Safety & Environmental Policy and ISO Standard Electrical Maintenance procedure.
To be an active member in daily morning tool box meeting discus on work related matter and steps to be taken before carry out assigned job.
To prepare daily report, update work order in SAP System and other documentations related to day-to-day job.
Perform hands on and assist electrical maintenance activities on electrical equipment
such as
a) Electrical switching
b) Lighting, small power and MVAC
c) LV & HV electric motors
d) LV & HV switchgears and motor control centre including cabling etc
e) Transformers and busduct system
f) Fire alarm and CO2 system
g) UPS and DC Charger unit
h) Cathodic protection system
i) Emergency diesel generator and others
As a competent electrical chargeman to monitor, operate and test electrical equipment in Sub-Station where this job require competency by Law of Malaysia.
Able to work during off-working hours, emergency call back, weekends and other plants within the LCTM complex to attend on plan or unplanned job as assigned by immediate superior
To carry out any other duties and responsibilities as assigned from time to time by immediate superior
Diploma in Electrical Engineering with B0 Electrical Chargeman Certificate.- Minimum 7 years working experience in Maintenance low and high voltage system.
Knowledge of electrical installation will be an added advantage.
