Cashier

Position Summary:
As a Cashier at our chocolate shop, you play a vital role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth transactions at the point of sale. The ideal candidate should be proficient in handling various payment methods and exhibit strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers. Your primary responsibilities include accurate cash handling, managing customer inquiries, and contributing to a positive and inviting shopping experience.

• Key Responsibilities:

• Cash Handling:

Accurately handle cash transactions, including processing payments, giving change, and issuing receipts.

• Maintain the cash register and ensure it balances at the end of the shift.

Handle credit card transactions.

• Order Processing:

Verify the accuracy of orders before finalizing transactions.

• Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order preparation.

• Team Collaboration:

Collaborate with other team members, including servers and kitchen staff, to ensure seamless operations.

• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the cashier area.

• Problem Resolution:

Handle customer complaints or issues with professionalism and escalate when necessary.

• Collaborate with the management team to resolve complex problems and improve overall customer satisfaction.
