Cafe Supervisor

Qualifications & Skills

• Previous experience in a supervisory or management role in a caf, restaurant, or similar environment.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations.

• Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer skills.

Knowledge of coffee preparation and caf operations is a plus.

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in hospitality or management are preferred.

Supervise and coordinate the activities of caf staff, including baristas, servers, and kitchen staff.

• Assist in training new employees and provide ongoing coaching and support to team members.

Schedule shifts, manage employee timekeeping, and ensure adequate staffing levels during peak hours.

• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment

• Customer Service

Ensure excellent customer service is provided at all times.

• Address customer complaints and feedback promptly and effectively.

Create a warm, welcoming atmosphere in the caf.

• Monitor customer satisfaction and implement improvements as needed.

Operations Management Oversee daily caf operations, including opening and closing procedures.

• Ensure that the caf is clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times.

Monitor inventory levels, place orders, and manage deliveries.

• Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and in good working condition.

• Financial Management

Assist in managing the cafs budget, controlling costs, and maximizing profitability.

• Handle cash management, including daily cash register reconciliation and bank deposits.

Monitor sales and prepare reports on performance metrics.

• 
  Compliance & Safety

Ensure that the caf complies with all health and safety regulations.

• Conduct regular safety and cleanliness checks.

Implement and enforce company policies and procedures.

Marketing & Promotion Assist with marketing initiatives and promotions to drive sales.

• Engage with customers on social media and in person to promote the cafs brand.

Pay: RM1,
