EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES- Bachelor's Degree in any related field OR
Minimum 3 years related experience with Diploma in any related field
- SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ATTRIBUTES
Able to multi-task and results oriented with attention to detail.- Possess organizational, communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
Knowledge of MRO procurement practices and terms, negotiation concepts, costing and basic business law.
- Familiar with local and overseas sourcing for both materials, equipment and services.
Advance level in MS Office and possess analytical skill.- DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Plan, source and purchase materials, supplies, equipment, parts and services.- Obtain quotations and bids, compare, analyse, and makes recommendations.
Follow up on all purchase requisitions to ensure items have been ordered and delivered on time.
- Responsible for retention and reconciliation of reports, invoices, and purchase orders.
Involved in contract, price negotiations and supplier selection for medium to large volumes of purchases which has significant impact to the profitability of the company.- Manage suppliers to gain the best suppliers and guarantee an optimum supply chain which includes minimizing purchasing risks.
Report monthly/quarterly results to control measurable activities against the planned figures.
- Ensure all requests and PR are attended to promptly, PO is issued to suppliers without unnecessary delay and follow-up with suppliers on deliveries as per committed date.
