JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Proceed to work: Urgent / As soon as available / upon completed dateline from ex-company's working policy.
- Experience on CNC mechanical partssource and purchase for at least 2 years.
- Perform materials source and purchase at the most competitive price both locally andoversea. Develop and execute sourcing strategies that map to and support overall business strategies., for example conduct RFQ.
- Work closely with the business & costing units to support new RFQ and customer strategic, as well as tactical material needs.
- Liaise with internal purchasing team, production, engineers, suppliers andcustomerweekly on the detailed requirement and engineering spec/quality/delivery and others compliance.
- Conduct cost and market analysis to benchmark current and potential suppliers.
- Review, compare and verify the quotations from suppliers to achieve the most competitive pricing.
- Develop appropriate business relationships with key suppliers/sources to include a global strategy for competitively sourcing material & timely delivery.
- Monitor the market supply / demand situation and pricing trend upon issue PO.
- Able to handle cost down program and have good negotiation skill.
- Develop customer confidence in overall supply chain management through customer interaction.
- Manage audit plan and audit supplier process to maintain certification & quality standards on suppliers.
- New Model Activity, RFQ new project, Part approval sample control before going into Mass Production for production used.
- Preferably to have experienced with SAP system on purchase / system load PO / stock monitoring / execute the program and others.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Professional Degree in Engineering / Computer Science field.
- At least 2-3 years experienced of sourcing engineer, purchasing engineer, procurement from Electromechanical Manufacturing Industry.
- Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English and others.
- Able to contact supplier both oversea and local.
- Strong PC computer skills such as Outlook, Excel, Word and Power Point.
- Good negotiation skill, Coordinating skill.
- Full-Time base in Sungai Petani, Kedah.
