The Impact You'll Make
This position plays a pivotal role within Lam's Major Module/Reliant Remote Factories with core responsibility to perform Lam owned consignment materials inventory management, develop integrated project plans for business process improvement related to consignment material inventory management, also work closely with Strategic Commodity Manager and Supply Chain Business Manager for Major Module/Reliant Finished Goods related initiatives.
What You'll Do
- Responsible for reconciling and managing Lam owned inventory movement from local warehouse to remote factories.
- Interacts closely with suppliers and Supplier Engineer/QA to resolve quality issues for RMA units.
- Partner with commodity to coordinate subcontract material with sub-tier suppliers and subsequent delivery to remote factories and local warehouse.
- Responsible for procurement business system data input and integrity within enterprise-wide systems (ERP).
- Partner with Strategic Commodity Manger and Supply Chain Business Manager on escalations and very best outcome for all material requirements within responsible scope to meet OTD and customer commitments.
- Processes purchase requisitions, purchase change orders and requests for quotes to suppliers.
Who We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field with 3+ years of experience; or equivalent experience.
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Powerpoint).
- Deep knowledge or experience in SAP.
- Good analytic and problem-solving skills.
- High level of accuracy and strong attention to detail.
- Communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the semiconductor industry or other high-tech industries.
- Prior experience in procurement, Procure-to-Pay processes, or similar functions.
- Foundational understanding of commodity market indicators and technical data.
- Prior experience managing the commercial and tactical aspects of supply chain requirements.

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. On-site Flex you'll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. Virtual Flex you'll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
