Job Description

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Take care of all VIP suite room guests and coordinate with all concerned departments to fulfil guest needs and requests.

  • Fully aware of the Room Service and other outlets menu, answer questions on menu selections, communicates with the kitchen regarding menu questions and product availability.

  • Be responsible for ensuring the table is properly set and meals and drinks are served to the patient accordingly.

  • Keeps concerned departments informed about the guest allergies and food preferences.

  • Ensure service to customer is prompt and courteous and handling complaints from patient in the most pleasant and efficient manner, to ensure satisfaction.

  • Develop and maintain personal contact with guest by offering warm, courteous and professional customer service

  • Ensure the cleanliness at butler's operation room and ensure cleanliness at dining area.

  • Responsibilities for VVIP / VIP function as per request

  • To ensure crockery, cutleries inventory always in placed and complete. Dependable to cookeries and cutleries in patient room before release and make a report promptly to HOD for any breakages and lost.

  • To ensure the diet and aggregate nourishment of patient is count with request by Staff Nurse.

  • Coordinate and expedite the flow of work.
  • PROFESSIONALISM

  • Adheres to Avisena s uniform and dress code policy.

  • Responsible as healthcare workers in ensuring clients safety and standard of care are well reserved.

  • Participates in ward projects, enhancing the standards of care.

  • Assists in the implementation of hospital initiatives.

  • Maintains own personal profile and ensure they meet the requirements for revalidation.
  • ISOLATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Responsible for the safety and health of oneself, co-workers and others that may be affected during work, including make self-declaration of health status.

  • Complies with SOP and usage of required PPE during work.

  • Employees who is feel sick must immediately inform their employer, Supervisor or Coordinator so that further action can be taken.

  • Demonstrates clinical assessment and treatment skills including maintain infection control measures to a very high standard for patients as per KKM guidelines.

  • Follows all SOPs that has been state by Infection Control Unit.

  • Respecting and adhering to guidelines related to communicable disease and general occupational safety in order to protect themselves, patients and co-workers including: Use of Personal Prevention Equipment, decontamination procedures, waste management, public safety measures, infection control and procedures, fire prevention and control and implement mandatory training on it before starting work and periodically.
  • KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Abilities to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.

  • Abilities to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing

  • Minimal knowledge of clinical operations and procedures.

  • Good rapport with customers

  • Alert on customer needs for assistance.
  • EDUCATION & TRAINING

  • Participate in external training and internal training (CME Programs)

  • To perform sharing session (bedside/teaching/ward round and CME).
