Job Description

Our client is a multinational hospital equipment distributor. Their extensive product portfolio includes General Surgery and Critical Care products.

Key Responsibilities:


Sales Department Leadership: Directly oversee and lead the sales department, providing mentorship to ensure the effective implementation of sales strategies and attainment of revenue targets.

Branding Management: Take charge of the company's branding initiatives, ensuring consistent visibility and resonance in the market.

Market Research and Strategy Development: Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends, assess customer needs, and refine marketing strategies accordingly.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Represent the sales team in cross-functional meetings with product principal in regards of product management, sales, and customer support to ensure alignment on marketing initiatives.

Budget Forecasting: Forecast and manage budgets for the sales department, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to achieve business objectives.

Key Opinion Leader (KOL) Engagement: Maintain and strengthen relationships with Key Opinion Leaders in the medical community to drive product adoption and market presence.

Product Launches and Events: Lead product launch initiatives and participate actively in conferences, trade shows, and other promotional events to maximize product exposure and market penetration.

Hands-on Product Experience: Utilize extensive hands-on experience with medical devices to provide technical expertise and support to the sales team and customers.

Qualifications:


10+ years of progressive experience in medical device sales, with a strong understanding of the Malaysian market.

Proven track record of leadership and achievement in sales management roles, preferably within the medical device industry.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Strategic thinker with a strong analytical mindset and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and other stakeholders in the healthcare industry.
