This role is responsible for the commercial activities of the Industrial Coatings businesses in
Malaysia & Singapore. You will work with other country and functional teams to execute the SBU goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define Industrial Coatings for Malaysia & Singapore sales and business strategy, aligned with Regional BU strategy and implement it
- To achieve annual financial plan goals and growth goals for IC Malaysia & Singapore
- Target and close on new business opportunities with current and new customers
- Work with SBU team including Segment Managers, Business Development, Marketing, Product Management, Technical Service and functional stakeholders like Supply Chain, Finance and Manufacturing to communicate customer expectations and report progress on business improvement programs, and get the right level of technical and product support to achieve planned results
- Exhibit PPG Values related to EHS and Compliance and ensure PPG procedures are always followed
Qualifications:
- Minimum 8-10 years working experience as sales manager; experience managing a team is preferable
- Experience in a paint supplier or related field
- Good command of English and communication skill within and among department, a team player
- Should be able to work independent with certain level of guidance provided
- Extensive traveling is required
