Our client, who are a global warehousing solutions provider seeks a top-tier Business Development Manager (Warehouse Sales) to be based at their Selangor office.
Your new role
Your responsibilities as a Business Development Manager include:
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within the logistics sector across Malaysia, focusing on expanding the company's market share
- Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored logistics solutions to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets, including conducting market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
- Lead negotiations with clients to secure contracts and close deals, employing persuasive communication skills to overcome objections and drive sales.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, preparing regular reports to assess progress against targets and adjust strategies as necessary for continuous improvement.
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Sales and Business Development within the warehousing or supply chain industry.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Proven track record of generating revenue and building new clientele
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
