Business Development Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES
The role requires variety of responsibility aiming to grow business for Bukit Kayu Hitam ICD and collaborate with stakeholder teams like Marketing, Operation, customer Service and other division within the group.

• DUTIES

Conduct market research to Identify and target potential clients and partners within the logistics, shipping, and transportation sectors to grow the business and increase revenue.

• Develop strategy plans and execute a comprehensive business development strategy that aligns with the company's goals and takes advantage of the opportunities presented by the Bukit Kayu Hitam ICD's unique position.

Cultivate strong relationships with key decision-makers, stakeholders, and industry influencers to enhance the company's reputation and foster collaboration.

• Building and maintaining strong relationship with existing customers, collaborate with cross-functional teams to tailor solutions and proposals that address the specific needs of clients and partners.

Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to showcase our offerings and maintain a prominent presence within the logistics community.

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market developments, and regulatory changes affecting the logistics and container transport sector.

Regularly analyze market data and feedback to refine the business development strategy and adapt to changing market conditions.

• Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations to potential clients, highlighting the benefits of partnering with Bukit Hitam ICD Sdn. Bhd.

Provide accurate and timely reports on business development activities, achievements, and challenges to senior management.

• Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding of new clients and successful execution of partnerships.

To carry out 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) practices within PKT Group of Companies.

• Perform any other assignments as and when requested by superior(s) and comply with the company's rules and regulations
