Job Summary:
Quantrix is seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development and Project Management Executive with a strong background in quantity surveying. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, managing client relationships, and overseeing the successful delivery of value engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand Quantrix's client base within the construction industry.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including developers, construction firms, and consultants.
- Lead negotiations and contract discussions to secure new projects and partnerships.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
Project Management:
- Oversee the end-to-end management of value engineering projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project requirements.
- Coordinate with internal teams, technical consultants, and main contractors to gather project data, analyze requirements, and deliver optimal solutions.
- Monitor project progress, resolve issues, and ensure client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare detailed project reports and updates for clients and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure projects are completed within budget and to the highest quality standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business development, project management, and quantity surveying within the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of value engineering principles and practices.
- Proven track record in developing new business and managing client relationships.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with AI and data analytics tools is a plus.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
Compensation Package:
- RM6,000-8,000 depending on experience
- Sales commission for successful deals
