Job Description

About this role:

The Business Development Manager position in our organisation is responsible for identifying growth opportunities, building relationships with clients and partners, and developing strategies to achieve company revenue and sales objectives. You are expected to play a critical role in expanding the company's market presence, creation of opportunities, establish long-term relationship with customers, developing product market strategies and ensuring its long-term success.

  • Business Developer Management
Plan and execute a product market development strategy.
  • Create persuasive value propositions for the companys services.
Investigate company value, growth opportunities, and partnerships to improve services.
  • Work closely with technical teams for smooth project execution, pursuing leads by understanding their needs and maintaining product knowledge for effective follow-ups.
  • Key Account Management:
Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with existing clients.
  • Identify and prioritise key accounts, ensuring their satisfaction and retention.
Develop account-specific strategies to maximize revenue and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide feedback and insights to improve product offerings based on client feedback.
Serve as the main point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and issues promptly.
  • To succeed in this role, we will need you to have:
Bachelors degree is preferred.
  • Minimum 6 years of proven consultative sales and market development experience (financial services & software preferred)
Ability to work with different levels of management and establish liaison confidently with client senior management.
  • Proven experience building excellent client relationships, offering value-added, insightful, and strategic vision into their business preferably in the banking, insurance and fintech sector.
Experience in managing and preparing for commercial bids.
  • Knowledge of the full life cycle of the sales process from prospecting to closure.
Good verbal and written communication skills; English and Bahasa Malaysia (Additional advantage if able to communicate in Mandarin).
  • An additional background in IT, Banking and Financial Services is an advantage.
  • You will play an important role, and as such are required to be:
Adept in learning and adopting financial products and market needs
  • Comfortable selling to, influencing and building trust-based, value-added relationships with senior executives.
Persistent and highly driven in nature to achieve targets
  • Able to deal with challenging situations and with unexpected change.
Independent, focused and work with team members.
  • Embracing best practices and feedback as a means of continuous improvement.

The successful candidate will be compensated with an attractive target achieving package and benefits.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM8,
  • 00 - RM12,000.00 per month
