Job Scope / Position Summary
The duties will be mainly responsible to meet and achieve growth and profitability targets of branch. Introducing the companys product range to existing and new producers / intermediaries. The successful candidate will also be contributing to generate new business from the agency sector and meeting production targets align with vision and strategy of company.
Main Responsibility
Account Engagement
- Training agent on product range and an integral part of the role will be driving ongoing sales and identifying new opportunities for growth.
- Maintain fruitful relationships with agents/ clients and address their needs effectively.
- Regularly maintain agents visitation with business talk, markets matter, claim matters, problem solving and update current GWP, agency benefits & etc.
- Joint field on risk survey and presentation of risk coverage to client.
- Conduct training and presentations.
Direct Sales Engagement
- Demonstrate business planning skills to achieve visitation and sales targets.
- Creation of sales planning/ activity.
- Assist business development & growth.
- Preparing various sales reports for business partners and team leaders.
Credit Control
- Familiarize with agent Statement of Account (SOA).
- Follow up on collection on premium outstanding.
Business Sales Support
- Prepare the quotations, review their renewal policies, and provide necessary advice on insurance matters to the agents or clients.
- Provide first line underwriting/ quotation/ indicative rate for simple case.
- To underwrite and batch in all secured renewals and new businesses effectively and accurately.
- Review monthly renewal listings and send a reminder to agents to follow up on renewals and improve the renewal ratio.
- Identify and recruit quality new agents.
Other Responsibilities
- Responsible batching for agents submission.
- Responsible to follow up on agents claims status and solve agents claims issue.
- Explain claim decisions to agents/ clients. Approach for acceptance in the event of dissatisfaction.
- Response & acknowledge to agents all the time and act as the first point of contact between agent and company.
- Control loss ratio and ensure profitability of each channel.
- Ensure meet the compliance with the regulatory requirement and internal guidelines and policies.
Qualification and Experience Requirement
- Education: Diploma / Degree / MII Certification or equivalent insurance qualification
- Experience: At least minimum 2- 8 years experiences in insurance industry
- Skills: Basic computer Operating, Good knowledge in Microsoft Word / Excel and Organizational, Communication and Negotiation skills
