Together with IFC (a member of the World Bank Group and minority shareholder in Collectius), Collectius is actively working on improving industry practices and promoting best resolution practices. As an example, Collectius has implemented a company policy that replaced the word debtor a term that has been traditionally perceived to be negative with customer.

Currently Collectius manages
  • 6 billion USD outstanding debt from 100+ clients across banking and financial institutions. To support our hyper- growth ambitions, we are looking for high-performers who want to grow the business with us!
  • Overview of the Position

The Business Development Intern will support the Business Development team in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, analyzing market trends, and assisting with the creation of proposals and presentations. This internship is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in business development, market research, and strategic planning within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Responsibilities

Lead Qualification
  • Identify and qualify potential leads through various channels.
Source & prospect potential brands through different communication channels that could work for the company.

Client Engagement
  • Communicate with prospects to understand their needs, present our products/services, and address any inquiries or objections.
Be involved in companys meetings and maybe be required to take part in companys events.

Sales Support
  • Involved in preparing sales materials, presentations, and proposals to support the sales process.

Reporting
  • Produce weekly/monthly reports to update management and offer insights on lead quality.
Assist in crafting the proposals with suggested strategies and directions for potential brand collaborations.

Learning and Development
  • Proactively seek learning opportunities to enhance sales skills and product knowledge through training sessions and self-study.

Marketing
  • Assist in strategist campaign ideation, content planning and executions regarding social media and video production.

Ad-Hoc Duties
  • You may also be assigned to different tasks to support your learning and exposure period during your tenure with the company, based on skills set and/or as deemed necessary on your direct superiors discretion
  • Requirements
:
Academic Qualification
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelors degree program / Diploma program, preferably in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

Working Experience
  • Prior experience in sales or customer service is advantageous but not required.

Soft Skill
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to accurately engage potential users (Fluency in Mandarin or Bahasa Malaysia is a plus).
Charming personality to build and maintain professional relationships.
  • Can-do attitude and grit to seize new opportunities and make things happen.

Strong negotiator with a commercial mindset.
  • Team spirit and ease in building strong professional relationships.
Great people skills and strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Technical
  • Knowledge and understanding of mobile and web technologies
Proficiency in Microsoft Office PowerPoint and Excel or Gsuite (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
  • Excellent understanding of new media, digital publishing, content and social media industry

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM900.00 - RM1,000.00 per month

Schedule:

Monday to Friday
