Simple Group started in July 2020 and has since served more than 100 clients, organized more than 10 trade fairs, and have completed more than 500 business matchings. We have also been featured in over 50 media and forged partnerships with over 80 partner associations and companies in the region. Our international footprints also include Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia, Philippines, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, Korea, Australia and China.

In the next bound, Simple Group focus shall be on re-inventing our technical competencies to use data-driven approach towards perfecting our Simple Group Dealmaking Desk methodology in pushing forward cross-border opportunities, strengthening efforts to better serve International Trade Fairs through Simple Group Virtual Trade Fair suite of services and charting our 2024 roadmap for Simple Group Events that serves Singapore enterprises in venturing overseas through participation in International Trade Fairs and high-quality Business Matchings.

  • Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Executive/Telemarketer to join our team and play a crucial role in supporting the sales team and sales manager in ensuring the success of sales and sign-ups. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set, with proven success in B2B and B2C sales and experience in closing deals and creating business agreements and partnerships. This position offers an immediate start and the opportunity to contribute to our continued growth and success.
  • Responsibilities:
Sales Support:
  • Assist the sales team in prospecting, lead generation, and follow-up activities to drive sales pipeline growth.
Conduct outreach to potential clients via email, phone, and social media to introduce short-term business trip and educational excursion offerings and secure meetings or demonstrations for related products and services.
Client Engagement: Engage with prospective clients to understand their needs, challenges, and objectives, and communicate how Simple Group's solutions can address them effectively.
  • Build rapport and maintain relationships with clients through regular communication and updates on product enhancements or new offerings.
Deal Closure:
  • Support the sales team in closing deals and finalizing business agreements and partnerships with prospective clients.
Assist in preparing proposals, presentations, and contracts tailored to the specific needs and preferences of clients.
  • Marketing Support:
Collaborate with the marketing manager to develop and implement strategies to promote trade sales and sign-ups effectively.
  • Provide input on marketing materials, campaigns, and messaging to ensure alignment with sales objectives and target audience preferences.
Data Management and Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, client interactions, and deal progress in CRM software.
Prepare regular reports and updates for the sales team and management on sales performance, pipeline metrics, and key insights.
  • Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1 year of proven success in B2B or B2C sales, with experience in supporting sales roles and team-collaboration
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish credibility with clients.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven, with a passion for excellence and a desire to contribute to the success of the team.
Effectively bilingual in Chinese and English, both written and spoken.
  • Duration: This is a full-time remote position with an immediate start.
