A business development professional has three primary responsibilities:
Identifying new sales leads. Pitching products and/or services. Maintaining fruitful relationships with existing customers
When it comes to generating leads, day-to-day duties typically include:
- Researching organisations and individuals.
- Contacting potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings.
- Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives.
- Engage with potential licensee to expand MDT licensee outlet.
- Expand Corporate Outlets portfolio.
When it comes to the challenge of actually selling, other typical duties include:
- Preparing PowerPoint presentations and sales displays.
- To deal with Malls to expand current space or negotiate for better deal.
- Contacting clients to inform them about new developments in the company's
products.
- Developing quotes and proposals.
- Negotiating and renegotiating by phone, email, and in person.
- Developing sales goals for the team and ensuring they are met.
- Training personnel and helping team members develop their skills.
Slurp In-charge
- In charge for Any new outlet opening or need to key new menu into slurp system
- Any related slurp issues.
The ideal candidate for this position as below:
- At least 1 year proven workingexperience in a business development, sales executive or a relevant role.
- Proven sales track record
- Experience in customer support is a plus
- Proficiency in MS Office and etc
- Possess good communication and negotiationskills.
- Ability to build rapport.
- Time management and planning skills
- Experience in food & beverage industry will be an added advantage.
- BSc/BA in business administration, salesor relevant field
