Overview:We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Procurement Assistant. This role involves handling procurement activities as well as contributing to business growth through strategic development initiatives.
- Assist in sourcing and purchasing goods and services at competitive prices.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Evaluate supplier performance and negotiate contracts.
- Business Development:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain relationships with potential clients and partners.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop proposals and presentations for potential clients.
- Administrative Support:
- Provide administrative support to the procurement and business development teams.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and other documentation as required.
- Assist in budgeting and financial analysis related to procurement and business development activities.
- Qualifications:
Preferable Diploma/ Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain
- management, or a related field.
Proven experience in procurement, business development, or a related role.- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and Google Worksheet.
* Knowledge of market trends and industry best practices.
