Job Summary
We are currently looking for a Business Analyst (Business Development) to proide support and updated market insights for GBD-Team to achieve business goals. This role involves conducting regular market research and analysis to identify trends, potential customers, and opportunities for business expansion. The position requires sifting through large datasets to extract useful insights and creating data visualizations. It also includes developing, updating, and maintaining presentations, proposals, dashboards, and other business documents, particularly for projects, RFQs/RFPs, and tenders. Additionally, the role supports the Business Development team with various tasks, with performance measured against the annual operation plan.

What You'll Responsible For:
Conduct extensive market research and analysis on a regular basis, to identify emerging trends, potential customers and/or opportunities for business expansion.
Sift through large datasets collected, turn them into useful information and create data visualizations with the results.
Develop, update and maintain presentations, proposals and required documents for business projects, RFQ/RFPs and/or tender.
Develop, update and maintain useful dashboards and visualising data through charts, diagrams, infographics and other methods.
Assist on any other task assigned within the scope of the GBD-Team.
What Experience and Skills Required:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science/ Economics/ Business Administration, or a related field.
Fluent in English & Chinese is a must.
Advanced skills with data analysis and visualisation tools are a must (e.g. Excel, PowerBI, PowerQuery & PowerPoint).
At least 2 years experience as a market/business analyst.
Experience from financial services/IBD and/or multinational corporations is a plus.
Proficient in other statistical software, API coding and programming languages is a plus.
Strong analytical skills and business acumen.
Ability to work under pressure.
Result oriented, independent, and self-starter.
