Join our leading-edge software house specializing in innovative e-commerce solutions. We are seeking a dynamic Project Manager with a strong Business Analyst background to lead our software development teams. Employing Agile methodologies and leveraging Jira software, the ideal candidate will manage projects from initiation through to successful delivery, ensuring optimal functionality and alignment with client specifications.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, initiate, and oversee software development projects focusing on e-commerce systems, serving as the primary liaison for all project-related activities.
- Facilitate and run daily Scrum meetings, sprint planning sessions, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies, ensuring effective communication and collaboration within the team.
- Work closely with product owners and stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables that support business goals, in collaboration with senior management.
- Translate client requirements into detailed project documentation and actionable tasks for development teams. Create comprehensive project timelines, plans, and work breakdown structures to ensure deliverables are met on time.
- Monitor and report on project progress, manage project risks, resolve issues, and negotiate solutions to ensure projects are delivered within scope, time, and budget constraints.
- Utilize Jira software for task tracking, backlog management, sprint planning, and prioritization of development tasks.
- Perform requirement analysis, feasibility studies, and cost-benefit analysis as part of business analyst responsibilities.
- Foster a collaborative environment within the development team and promote continuous improvement by integrating innovative techniques and tools into the project management process.
- Act as a mediator between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment of project goals and milestones.
Requirements:
- University degree or diploma with relevant working experience in related fields.
- Minimum of 2 year(s) working experience in software development analyst role.
- Expertise and passion in E-commerce industry is an added advantage.
- Good communications skills, both spoken and written in English. (Mandarin will be an added advantage to deal with mandarin speaking clients.)
- Able to work remotely as a team or independently.
- Able to work under tight project deadlines.
- Able to work in a fast paced dynamic and flexible environment and able to adapt to changes quickly.
- Able to plan User Journey with good User Experience.
- Demonstrated expertise in using Jira or similar project management software to oversee complex software development projects.
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to seek win-win solutions and drive project progress.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing multidisciplinary development teams.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
