Job Responsibility
Role
Midas Mart is a grocery superstore in Johor Bahru that provides variety and superior value of daily grocery products to both household consumer and business operators. The Branch Buyer is responsible for planning and purchasing products and resell IT to the end consumer at our store. The range of products include Grocery Food and Non-Food, Personal Care, Dried Commodities and Frozen and Chilled products.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for trade purchase and monitoring of the assigned division stock to ensure the stock availability is at an ideal level (no out of stock or overstock) as per the Companys requirement.
- To liaise with suppliers in term of stock ordering and merchandising support.
- Responsible for the stock inventory and carry out verification for any stock discrepancy.
- To ensure attractive in-store product merchandising and display are kept up to date in proper order based on the planogram.
- To conduct regular market survey as per schedule to ensure displays are visible and attractive, and the pricing stay competitive at all times.
- To assist in stock replenishment.
Job Requirements
- Minimum Diploma or above.
- Possess minimum 2 years relevant working experience. Experience as a Buyer in Hypermarket /or Supermarket will be an added advantage.
- Familiar with product merchandising is considered of great value.
- Strong organizational skill with attention to detail.
- Computer literate, familiar with MS Words, Excel & Power Point.
- Good command in English, Bahasa Malaysia & Mandarin
