BMW Premium Selection (BPS) and Used Car Sales Manager
Location: Cyberjaya
Overall responsibility for the business development and sales performance of the BMW Group Approved Used Vehicles project in Malaysia, which is represented by the BMW Premium Selection program.
Key Performance Indicators:
- Performance in vehicles (BPS Retail and Wholesale)
- activities branding & tactical campaigns to support dealer network.
- with BMW Malaysia sales operating standards.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy to drive growth in the BMW Premium Selection business in Malaysia, adhering to BMW Used Car guidelines.
- Manage all aspects of the company's fleet, including sales demos, pool cars, and assigned vehicles, to support marketing and sales objectives.
- Maximize retail and wholesale sales of company fleet vehicles, while effectively managing budget to contribute to organizational sales and financial targets.
- Key contact person between Approved Used Vehicles dealers and BMW MY. Ensure timely, accurate & transparent information flow and make available to dealers key information to support daily operations. Feedback key information from the network to BMW MY management.
- Further develop the Approved Used Vehicles sales process to improve efficiency and enhanced synergy with New Car sales processes.
- Produce and analyze monthly reports on used car sales, including retail sales, trade-ins, BPS penetration rate, and dealership profitability, in accordance with BMW UC guidelines including processing of tactical claims from dealers.
- Plan and execute strategic marketing initiatives to build awareness and promote Approved Used Vehicles businesses including managing marketing budgets, roll-out of retail standards & processes, integration of CRM initiatives to monitor prospects and increase leads to dealerships, and the management of NSC and dealer websites to promote the BPS brand.
- Achieve relevant sales KPI e.g. Used Vehicles dealer profitability, warranty standards & processes, sales achievement incentives / bonus programmes.
- Develop and utilise used car sales matrix to determine Used Car pricing. Responsible for sale of ex-NSC fleet cars to dealers on a monthly basis.
- Embark on business development projects to further grow the business via synergistic partnerships with internal or external financial institutions.
- Ensure that Approved Used Vehicles dealers are complaint to facility standards, CI and sales processes.
- Plans and coordinates relevant training programmes between dealers and NSC / AG.
- Liaise together with Dealer Development colleagues (both NSC and AG level) on project management of new Approved Used Vehicles dealerships.
- Collaborate with After Sales colleagues to develop proper processes for warranty claims & enhanced product offering leveraging on BPS extended warranty program.
- Collaborate with BMW Financial Services to develop tactical campaigns and subvention rates for BMW UC.
- Responsible for the reporting of dealer benchmarking of all dealership to management and coordinate retail Standards Audit with sales, after sales and marketing.
Education background and experiences:
- A business/engineering related degree is required. Additional technical qualifications and experience may also be of value.
- Fluent in English and Malay. Knowledge of other languages may be an advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in the automotive industry in a wholesale or retail business environment.
