Provision of Care
Ensure all biomedical equipment are being maintained at its required standards and functional at times.
Maintain biomedical equipment by completing preventive maintenance schedules.
Perform tasks associated with the installation, maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting and repair of biomedical equipment with supervision.
Perform electrical safety testing of clinical equipment and devices and monitor completion of preventive maintenance activities performed by outside vendors.
Coordinate and communicate with end user and service vendor for acceptance of equipment for new unit, loan and demo
Record daily reading on medical gas to ensure continuous supply of gas at required pressure.
Ensure all health and safety requirements within the department is adhered and staff are required to observe such requirements.
Be available to give advice and/or be on-call on a 24-hour basis, to attend to related malfunctioning of biomedical equipment.
To complete assignments or tasks requested by superior from time to time.

Adhering to safety precautions whilst carrying out daily tasks to avoid any accidents / injury.
PPE must be use during certain requirement environment.
Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of workshop
Adhere to hospital policies and procedure.
To comply with any instruction or measure on occupational safety and health instituted by his/her employer or any other person by or under Occupational Health and Safety Act or any regulation made thereunder.
