Overview:As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting and serving a variety of beverages, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area. Your goal is to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests, ensuring they have an enjoyable and memorable experience.
- Drink Preparation and Service:
Mix, garnish, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to company recipes and customer preferences.- Check identification to ensure customers meet the legal drinking age.
Maintain an in-depth knowledge of all menu items, including cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits.
Greet guests promptly and engage with them to create a friendly and welcoming environment.
- Take orders and provide recommendations based on guests preferences and the menu.
Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints efficiently.
Keep the bar area clean and organized, including washing glassware, restocking supplies, and managing inventory.- Ensure all equipment is in working order and report any issues to the manager.
Follow health and safety regulations, including maintaining cleanliness standards and practicing responsible alcohol service.
Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately.
- Maintain an organized cash register and reconcile the till at the end of the shift.
Work closely with other staff members, including servers and kitchen staff, to ensure seamless service.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to improve service and operations.
Experience: Previous experience as a bartender or in a customer service role in the hospitality industry preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong multitasking abilities and attention to detail.
* Knowledge of mixology, cocktail recipes, and beverage trends.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions.
