  As a barista in a creative space, we are looking for team members who can carry the creative vibe and culture of FabCafe.
  
  

  Responsibilities:

• Create a welcoming and friendly environment for every customer. Welcoming customers, informing them about specials or new items, answering questions, and accepting orders and payments
  

• Prepare and serve coffee and tea drinks that meet quality standards
  

• Preparing foods, such as sandwiches or baked goods
  

• Respond to orders, questions, concerns, and complaints in a polite and efficient manner
  

• Accurately handle cash and credit card payments, following appropriate cash-handling procedures
  

• Serve customers quickly and efficiently
  

• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of all the menu offerings
  

• Properly handle and maintain all equipment
  

• Cleaning and restocking work and dining areas, emptying trash and sanitizing equipment and utensils.
  

• Learning about brewing methods, beverage blends, food preparation, and presentation techniques to improve food quality
  

• Taking inventory and replenishing items in display cases, at tables, or behind the counter
  

• Observe relevant health and safety standards
  

• Adhering to all food safety regulations and quality control
  

• Always keep updated about the creative fabrication side of the business such as events that are happening, workshops etc, so you can answer and assist customers with any questions
  
  

  Requirements:

• Polite, friendly, patient, humorous and service oriented
  

• Able to work in a high paced environment and under stressful conditions
  

• Good command of English
  

• Able to follow and execute directions
  

• Strong ability to multitask and problem solve quickly
  

• Training and willingness to continue learning about food and beverage preparation
  

• Initiative skills - the ability to assess a situation and take action without direction
  
  No experience needed as training will be provided. A good attitude and willingness to learn is of utmost importance.
  
  Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate
  
  Pay: RM1,600.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
