Key Roles:- Manage department budgets and financial targets, attending payroll and workforce planning meetings
- Manage the banquet department budget and complete forecasts and reports where required.
- Manage and maintain stock levels for banquet resources (glassware etc.) and consumables (napkins, beverages etc.)
- Delegate and organize the team to ensure efficient and productive work is completed to execute the banquet function seamlessly.
- Ensure the banquets are set up and decorated in accordance with the client's requirements, ensuring availability of all required serving items and making orders for special requests.
- Collect and manage data derived from customer satisfaction surveys to identify trends and opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Coaching and developing the team to maintain service delivery to brand standards and ensuring the appearance of the venue and staff are top notch.
- Requirements:
At least 2 years experience in an F&B leadership role in an international chain hotel.
- Ability to plan, delegate, lead and motivate a team.
Excellent time management and organisational skills, with great attention to detail.- Developed business acumen to understand budgets, forecasting, staffing levels and customer satisfaction.
Mature and professional conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
