Backend Developer

The Role

In your role as a Backend Developer, you will be instrumental in building the technological foundation of our jobsite. Your work will ensure that our platform not only meets the immediate needs of our users but is also strategically poised for future expansion and diversification.

• Key Responsibilities

Design and implement robust backend systems that support the complex functionalities of our jobsite, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability.

• Design and optimize databases for high availability, security, and performance, leveraging both relational and NoSQL technologies.

Implement robust APIs for internal and external use, ensuring they are secure, scalable, and maintainable.

• Collaborate with frontend developers and UI/UX designers to ensure seamless integration and user experience.

Proactively identify and implement performance optimizations and security enhancements.

• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, advocating for the adoption of new technologies where appropriate.

• Requirements

Proven expertise in backend development, with a strong portfolio demonstrating scalable and high-performance applications, including mobile app integrations.

• Deep knowledge of server-side languages (JavaScript, Typescript, NodeJs) and frameworks (NestJs, Kubernetes, Docker).

Strong experience with RESTful API design and development, specifically tailored for mobile app consumption, including considerations for data optimization and caching.

• Proficiency in database technologies (both SQL and NoSQL) and an understanding of data modeling for scalability and performance.

Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructure and services Google Cloud Platform) and experience with server architecture and load balancing strategies.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a strong focus on delivering efficient and scalable backend solutions.

Effective communication skills, capable of simplifying complex technical concepts for collaboration with cross-functional teams.
