We are seeking an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our DevOps pipelines, automating infrastructure, and supporting development operations on Azure. You will work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth delivery and deployment of software products. This role requires a deep understanding of Azure cloud infrastructure, CI/CD practices, and DevOps best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Manage CI/CD Pipelines: Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps to streamline code integration, deployment, and release processes.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Utilize tools such as Ansible, ARM templates, or Azure Bicep to automate and manage Azure infrastructure.
- Automate Workflows: Develop automation scripts and workflows using PowerShell, Bash, or Azure CLI to improve operational efficiency and eliminate manual steps in deployment processes.
- Collaborate with Development and QA Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate testing and quality assurance processes within CI/CD pipelines.
- Monitor and Maintain Environments: Use Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights to monitor and ensure high availability and performance of production environments.
- Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices and compliance checks in pipelines and infrastructure to ensure a secure development environment.
- Version Control Management: Manage and support version control systems, particularly Git, within the Azure DevOps environment.
- Troubleshoot and Resolve Issues: Diagnose and resolve issues related to the CI/CD pipelines, deployment, and environment configuration.
- Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of the DevOps processes, configurations, and procedures including installation and maintenance guide. Assist in training and mentoring team members in DevOps practices.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience working with Azure DevOps or similar CI/CD tools.
- Proficiency in Azure cloud services, including VMs, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Functions, Azure App Services, and networking.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Ansible, ARM templates, or Azure Bicep.
- Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
- Knowledge of version control systems, especially Git.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with security and compliance standards (e.g., securing secrets, data encryption, access management).
- Problem-solving mindset and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working across teams.
- Certification in Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert.
- Experience with other CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
- Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
