Automotive Sales Advisor is responsible for assisting customers in the vehicle purchase process. This includes providing information about vehicles, answering customer inquiries, and helping customers choose vehicles that meet their needs and budgets. This role requires excellent communication skills, knowledge of the automotive industry, and the ability to meet sales targets.
Customer Interaction:- Greet customers entering the showroom in a friendly and professional manner.
Listen to and understand customer needs to assist them in selecting the right vehicle.Providing Vehicle Information:
Provide detailed information about vehicle features, specifications, and options.
- Explain the benefits and advantages of various vehicles to potential buyers.
Test Drives:
- Arrange and accompany customers on test drives.
Answer any questions customers have during the test drive.
Guide customers through the sales process from initial contact to final purchase.- Assist with financing and leasing options, including explaining terms and conditions.
Documentation and Record Keeping:- Ensure all sales documentation is completed accurately and promptly.
Maintain records of all interactions with customers and follow up as needed.Customer Service:
Provide exceptional customer service before, during, and after the sale.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
Product Knowledge:
- Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive trends, models, and features.
Participate in ongoing training and development programs.
Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and customer acquisition.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in business or a related field is a plus.Experience:
Previous experience in automotive sales or a related field is preferred.Skills:- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to build rapport with customers and understand their needs.- Proficiency with sales and customer relationship management (CRM) software.
Negotiation and closing skills.

Work is primarily performed in a showroom or dealership setting.
