Automation Test Engineer

Title: Automation Test Engineer

• Role Purpose:

Maintain the Bank's server infrastructure to ensure IT infrastructure and services operate in accordance to the agreed service level agreements. Undertake initiatives in which application of IT/technology (server related technology) will enhance business performance that enables the achievements of the Bank's desired outcomes.

• Principal Accountabilities:

Design, Implement, deploy and maintain tools/scripts for automating operational tasks across infrastructure

• Responsibility for identifying, recommending, establishing and sustaining tools, processes & practices that support process automation solutions

Design and develop automation solution and define the key performance metrics for the solution

• Liaise with principal/internal/3rd party team to ensure success of projects

Support common infrastructure applications running Jenkins, ALM

• Vulnerability assessment across Production & Non-Production environment

Ensure infrastructure setup are compliant with bank's architecture standards and info security policies

• Strong technical and administration skills on Servers platform (Windows, Linux, Aix )

Deliver technical support and onsite field services

• Perform installation, configuration and maintenance task

Identify errors, technical problems and determine proper solutions while providing exceptional service and customer support

• Report and interface with senior management

Communicate and coordinate proficiently with customer requirements

• Provide long-term process/service improvement measures and plans

• QUALIFICATION/Experience:

Academic Qualifications: Bachelor degree or higher qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology , Information Systems, Software Engineering or relevant professional qualification

• Experience: At least 5-years working experience in software development and application support.

Strong technical knowledge in the following areas :

• Automation tools Micro Focus UFT, ALM, Selenium. Automation framework such as Hybrid, Robot, TestNG;

Programming skills on VB scripting, Java, Python, JavaScript, Shell scripting, OOPs, Jenkins, Selenium, Powershell

• Experienced in Source code management tools Git, GitHub, Svn, BitBucket; Defect management tools ALM, Bugzilla, JIRA; Database management DBMS and RDBMS; Configuration management tools like Ansible/Puppet.

Servers platform (Windows, Linux, AIX) in all Servers Platform; Virtualization - PowerCLI; Network; Microservices, Perl; Ruby; Elasticsearch, Logstash; Grafana & Kibana and PowerBI.

• Advantages and good-to-have :* Experience in the following infrastructure technology spanning across wide range of domains, but not limited to.
