Carry out audit and assurance engagements independently and efficiently.
Analyzing financial statement data to ensure accuracy and fairness.
Assist in planning, execution, and finalization of audit assignments.
Completing audit processes and documenting higher-risk areas, such as revenue, financial instruments, tax and etc.
Lead and delegate responsibilities to a team of auditors.
Developing an understanding of market trends and processes, sharing knowledge with junior colleagues.
Review audit working papers and financial statements for compliance with auditing and reporting standards.
Building and maintaining productive relationships with client personnel.
Job Requirements
Degree in Accountancy and/or partial professional qualification in a related field.
Proficient in written and spoken English; proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage.
Familiarity with applicable reporting standards in Malaysia, Companies Act 2016, and Income Tax Act.
Familiarity with entire audit process.
Experience in supervising and coaching junior staff.
Thorough knowledge of current auditing techniques & IAS. Understanding of risk-based auditing, risk and control strategies, ISQM, and regulatory requirements.
Willingness to travel and ability to work independently.
Familiarity with audit software is an added advantage.
