Associate (1-3 years PQE):
Role Description
As an Associate, you are expected to have sufficient maturity and judgment to work with others on daily tasks and offer support to the team. You will also be responsible for drafting and reviewing legal documents, conducting legal research, anticipate potential problems, and propose/implement solutions. As part of the Associate's career development, the Associate will also be required to participate in the firm's business development and marketing activities.
Requirements and Qualifications
High degree of professional ethics and integrity
Achieved a minimum of 2:1 (Upper Second-Class Honours) or equivalent in LLB degree
Excellent communication skills in English
Ability to read, write, and speak in Mandarin too would be preferable
Fully familiar with Microsoft Office applications and a strong user of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Prior experience in real estate transactions, banking and finance, infrastructure, construction and energy, and/or corporate and commercial law transactions is a plus
Strong interpersonal skills and a good sense of humour
Trainee Associate (Pupil):
Role Description
As a Trainee Associate, you are expected to have meticulous attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, and highly self-motivated. You are also expected to be able to work independently but also as a strong team player.
Requirements and Qualifications
Achieved a minimum of 2:1 (Upper Second-Class Honours) or equivalent in LLB degree
Excellent communication skills in English and a good level of proficiency in Mandarin will be a strong asset
Fully familiar with Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Prior experience as a legal intern is a plus
Strong interpersonal skills and a good sense of humour
