Job Description - Associate / Sr. Associate Insurance Broker Associate

Designation IBA Technician/ Sr. IBA Technician

Overall Purpose We are looking for IBA Technician/Senior IBA Technician to join our team to manage all aspects of our client's IBA Debtors and Creditors ledgers in an effective and efficient manner across Asia Pacific region. On top of that, managing bureau signings and Lloyd's, LIRMA ledgers, banking and credit control. Principal accountabilities
Process






Insurer statement reconciliations, payments and follow up any discrepancies
Query investigation on broker accounts, deal with queries from brokers/underwriters and deal with their queries and inquiries
Handling of Client payment/refund reconciliations
Assisting with Client Money audits
Reviewing and managing IBA logs
Reviewing and producing Client Money Calculations
Organized and control of work in an efficient manner, in accordance with the business and regulatory (UK and others) requirements
Stay updated with Service Standards, legal and regulatory requirements to perform IBA activities
Participate in project initiatives to improve efficiency and productivity of the department and best practice procedures
Proactively identify process gaps and provide solutions to the identified gaps
Ensuring CASS compliance at all times and adhere to FCA client money rules
People Establish and maintain a highly effective and responsive working relationship with all internal and external stakeholders and prioritize work commitments to ensure daily workflows and maintained and SLA are delivered
Actively participate in team activities and initiatives to encourage a collaborative team approach.

Resource Profile
Qualifications

Bachelors Degree of any qualification.
Fresh Graduate or Candidate with at least 3-5 year experience in the insurance industry, particularly in accounting are encouraged to apply
Knowledge and experience of dealing with Lloyd's/London Market will be an added advantage
Good command of speaking and writing English and Mandarin
Meticulous with the attention to details
Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Result-orientated with sense of urgency
Knowledge of Insurance Broker Accounting procedures and best practice
Profile Back office, Non Voice with excellent comprehension and business writing skills
Ensures policy on background checks to be followed
