Responsibilities:
- Facilitate learning and carry out research activities in the IMU.
Teach academic subjects to undergraduate and postgraduate students. Teaching methods include lectures, seminars, tutorials, problem solving learning, practical laboratory demonstrations, field work and e-learning. Multimedia technologies are increasingly used.- Involved in academic management work as and when required by the Head of Department.
Pursue own areas of research and develop these in order to contribute to the wider research activities of the department.
Requirements:
- Candidates with a minimum Ph.D/Doctorate in Clinical Psychology/ Counselling/ related field
The candidate must be registered with the relevant professional bodies of their specialty and must have a minimum of 5 years of teaching experience.- At least 20 publications in indexed journals
Candidates with evidence of relevant industry experience and research collaborations would have an added advantage.
