To be eligible for this role, you will require:
- Degree in Finance / Banking / Investment / Economics or equivalent
- At least 4 year(s) of working experience in corporate finance, buy-side investment, transaction advisory, audit or consulting is required for this position
- Strong analytical and financial modelling skills, with experience using Excel and other financial analysis tools.
- Ability to analyse trends, identify investment opportunities, think creatively and critique on business models and articulate investment ideas.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
- Good grasp of various economic and market drivers.
Your responsibilities will be:
- Conduct research and analysis of industries on potential investment opportunities, including market research, financial analysis and due diligence.
- Assist in the due diligence process, including conducting calls and meetings with potential investee and analyzing their financial as well as operational metrics.
- Closely monitor, track and analyse investee companies operating performance and making strategic recommendations on decision to drive for buy/sell.
- Lead/assist in industry research assignments, evaluating financial spreadsheets and summarizing reports to facilitate investment opportunities and strategy formulation.
- Coordinate ad hoc projects / submissions / applications.
